Our lids do not have vent holes, but rest assured, this doesn’t affect suction as long as the cup isn’t overfilled.

Lastly, if you notice liquid creeping up through the straw when inserting it after securing the lid—that’s just physics! Air displacement pushes the liquid up. If that bugs you, simply insert the straw before sealing the lid and… BAM! Problem solved.
